Virginia State University

Joseph Hastings (3-0), recorded 11 strikeouts in 6.1 innings on the mound allowed 4 hits and 3 earned runs while walking just one batter in the Trojans 9-3 win over Alliance University in game one of Virginia State scheduled doubleheader.


Jarvis Christian University

Alejandro Gonzalez Moreno in 5.0 innings on the hill, Moreno gave up 2 hits, 1 run, 1 earned run while striking out 9 batters in the win over Texas College.

 

 


Wiley College

Jalen Porter (2-0), complete game 10-5 win for Wiley over Champion Christian threw 7.0 innings allowed 6 hits and 5 earned runs, accounted for 12 strikeouts to record his second win of the season.

 

 


Florida Memorial University

William Hiciano (1-0), collected his first win of the season with a 6-2 win over Ft. Lauderdale University in the game-one of the scheduled doubleheader. Hiciano struck out 9 batters in 6.0 innings, gave up 4 hits, 1 run, and 1 earned run.

Christian Womble (1-0), 6.0 innings of work resulted in fanning 11 Mississippi Valley State batters gave up just 2 hits and 1 earned run in the Astros Cactus Jack HBCU Classic 14-1 win in Houston, Texas (Minute Maid) Park.

Nolan Santos RHP, in a no decision Wildcat 7-6 win, Santos allowed 2 hits, 2 runs, 2 earned runs but struck out 11 Lehigh batters in Daytona, Florida.

Kewan Braziel, 4.0 innings on the hill saw 4 hits with 1 earned run and 8 strike outs in a losing effort 5-4 lost to Alabama A&M.

 

 


Edward Waters University

Will Valenti (2-0), in his second start to open SIAC conference play went 8.0 innings, allowed five hits, two earned runs, and for his second consecutive outing, struck out 10 batters in a thrilling 3-2 win over Lemoyne-Owens.
