The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) announced its annual NCAA Division II All-Region teams on May 16th. Of the eight regional teams, four from HBCU schools represented the Atlantic Region and South Region.
Nathan Paulsen from West Virginia State University was named to the second team of the Atlantic Region as an outfielder.
Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) schools placed three on the second team of the South Region.
Torry Jones of Edward Waters University (the SIAC Player of the Year) was selected as the designated hitter, Kendal Spencer from Savannah State University was picked as an outfielder, and Camden Matthews from Miles College was named as a relief pitcher.
