Harris-Stowe State University’s baseball team split a four game set against Lyon College. The Hornet split both doubleheaders with the Scots. On Friday, HSSU won game one by the score of 13-2 then lost the second game 12-1. Then on Saturday. the Hornets lost the first game 6-5 and won the second game by the score of 3-1.

Edward Waters went into extra innings tied at 4-4 after 10, but the Tigers had a huge 11th inning and won the game 13-6.

West Virginia State (21-7 overall, 17-4 in the MEC) swept West Virginia Wesleyan Sunday in doubleheader action taking game one by the score of 5-1and game two 15-3.
