Coppin State’s baseball team earned a split of its MEAC doubleheader at Delaware State, dropping a wild 13-12 decision in game one before winning the nightcap, 8-5, on Sunday afternoon.

Alabama A&M (1-7, 1-2 SWAC)

Alabama A&M was able to to get in the win column with a convincing 9-2 decision over Alcorn State for it’s first victory of the season.

Rattlers split four-game series

Florida A&M starting pitcher Josh Hancock kept Florida Gulf Coast’s bats silent as he helped propel FAMU to a 9-6 win over FGCU.

Three Alabama State pitchers combined for a no-hitter on Saturday afternoon as the Hornets blanked Mississippi Valley State 14-0 in seven innings for its second win of the series.

Norfolk State Spartans earned a doubleheader split with Morehead State with a 4-2 win in Sunday’s game two contest. The first game was a 10-2 loss.
