Freshman designated hitter / infielder Evan Bouldin was named Northeast Conference (NEC) Rookie of the Week as announced by the league office earlier today.
In the 2023 season-opening series at The Citadel, Bouldin recorded four hits in 11 at-bats for a batting average of .364. Of his four hits, he collected two doubles for a slugging percentage of .545. Bouldin also drew two free bases and got hit once for an even .500 on-base percentage.
This is the first weekly honors of Bouldin’s collegiate career.
