The 2025 National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association’s 25th annual Division I All-America first, second and third teams were announced on June 11th and it includes both Juan Cruz of Alabama State University and Cardell Thibodeaux of Southern University on its third team. Founded in 1962, the NCBWA is dedicated to the advancement of college baseball.
At the end of May, Juan Cruz was named the Southwestern Athletic Conference Co-Hitter of the Year and first team All-SWAC, while Cardell Thibodeaux was chosen Player of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, as well as first team All-SWAC.
Earlier this week (on June 9th), Black College Nines named Cardell Thibodeaux its 2025 Large School Player of the Year and first team All-Elite outfielder, while Juan Cruz was picked as the first team All-Elite first baseman. That post can be found here.
