For the sixth time this season, the Albany State University baseball team continues to receive votes in the latest NCAA Division II Top 10 South Region Poll compiled by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) on Wednesday, March 31st.
The Golden Rams have a 11-6 record thus far in the 2021 season, including a resounding 7-2 victory over Georgia Southwestern State University on March 30.
In that game, Albany State was led by TJ Thomas and Wyatt Setian finishing the contest each going two-for-four at the plate. Thomas also knocked in four runs. Chasen Roulhac, Kevin Bryant and Will Barry each recorded one hit for Albany State. The Golden Rams finished the contest out hitting the Hurricanes 9-4.
The Golden Rams return to the field Wednesday, April 14th as they host Columbus State University.
