2024 HBCU Baseball Weekend Recap March 22-24

Black College Nines continues with its weekend recap of both large and small HBCU games from the 2024 season action from this past weekend.

Coppin State claimed two of three games from Delaware State in a Northeast Conference (NEC) matchup.

No. 2 Jackson State swept No. 10 Mississippi Valley State 14-4 in game one, 8-5 game two, and 5-4 in the series final game.

No. 1 Albany State swept Tuskegee in SIAC series action (for a 10-game winning streak) scoring 28 runs to 9 for Tuskegee. The scores were14-3, 5-2, and 9-4.

No. 6 Bluefield State sweeps a doubleheader on Sunday over Virginia State, 10-3 and 1-0.

Xavier of Louisiana wins two of three games defeating University of the Southwest 8-4 in game 1, losing 15-6 in game two, and winning the series finale 14-10.

No. 3 Bethune-Cookman won two of three games from its rival, No. 5 Florida A&M Rattlers.
