Xavier’s Joseph Semien won for the third consecutive Saturday.
Joseph Semien collected a second RRAC Pitcher of the Week honor for the same dates. This is the fifth set of weekly honors for the 2023 baseball season.
Semien threw seven scoreless innings in a road win over Huston-Tillotson on Saturday. The sophomore lefty scattered four hits and struck out seven batters with three walks as the Gold Rush won, 8-3. Semien is 3-0 on the season with a 1.09 ERA, which is third best in the conference. Xavier evened its RRAC mark at 3-3 while jumping to 8-4 on the season.
