The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) has released its weekly NCAA Division II polls. One Historically Black College and University (HBCU) baseball program, Winston Salem State, garnered votes this week.
In the Atlantic Region, Winston Salem State ranks eighth in Top 10 regional poll. WSSU’s current record is 9-0 this week after sweeping Davis & Elkins College in a three-game series.
With a tough non-conference schedule, the Rams continue play this weekend when they host Seton Hill, ranked No. 4 in the Atlantic region, February 23-24.
