Season Preview
The Wildcats turn to new faces to contend for the 2026 Historically Black Colleges and Universities Athletic Conference title. Catcher Jaziel Martinez, first baseman Ivan Del Villar, second baseman Amir Mason and centerfielder Eddie Garza are the only returning starters. Nick Rodriguez and Ethan Jones are the only returning starting pitchers. Del Villar is a three-time All-Conference selection. Garza earned First Team All-Conference last season. Mason was an All-Tournament Team selection. Rodriguez earned All-HBCUAC First Team All-Conference. Transfers Tyrean Lofton, Kaleb Gilner and Cameron McCoy should make an immediate impact.
