Season Preview
At Lane, we’re entering this season with more confidence, particularly due to increased depth in the infield and on the pitching staff—two areas that challenged us a year ago. We were able to complete a full summer of recruiting and have a full fall semester together as a team, which has made a big difference. Last season came with growing pains and players being asked to fill roles out of position, yet we still earned a spot in the conference tournament. With that foundation in place, our expectations for ourselves are higher. We’re focused on competing at a high level every day and putting ourselves in position to challenge for a SIAC championship.
