Tuskegee University Welcomes James Jackson As The New Assistant Baseball Coach

Tuskegee University head baseball coach Chad Hall brought on James Jackson as the newest member of the Golden Tigers coaching staff. James comes on board as the Assistant Coach for Tuskegee’s program after serving 13 years of baseball coaching and training experience including travel ball, high school, and collegiate summer League Baseball.

Coach Jackson is a native from Atlanta GA and is a former Alabama State University pitcher. Furthermore, he is a former Army officer that served on the frontline during Operation Desert Storm.

Following his military career, he has worked for multiple 500 Fortune companies including Terminix as a branch manager, Fizer, as a Pharmaceutical Sales Manager, and a Walmart Store Manager.

He holds a BS in Military Science from Excelsior University, a BA in Sociology from Augusta University, and MS in Education from Troy University and an MBA from Columbia Southern University.

He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity. Coach Jackson is married to Christina Jackson and has six daughters and one son Jamie, Jessica, Christin, Christian, Madison, Cameroon, and Olivia. His son, Christian Jackson attended Dutchtown High School, and was the only Georgia High School player drafted by the Atlanta Braves in 2022.
