Tuskegee Baseball 2023 Schedule Released

The 2023 baseball schedule for Tuskegee was released on Tuesday, featuring 46 total games, 25 of which will be played on campus at Washington Field.

First year head coach Chadwick Hall will lead the program into the new season as they have 11 non-conference matchups, including one Division I foe.

The Golden Tigers will begin the year at home against Rust College for the second consecutive year, this time for a three-game series against Rust College. The teams will have a doubleheader on Saturday, Feb. 4 before finishing the series on Feb. 5.

From there, Tuskegee will begin a three-game road stretch as they take on Talladega (Feb. 7) and Stillman (Feb. 11) for a doubleheader.

After a midweek non-conference matchup against Montevallo on Wednesday, February 15, before starting Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) play with a. weekend road series against Albany State (Feb. 18-19) and Clark Atlanta (Feb. 25-26). Sandwiched in between the conference outings is another non-conference matchup against West Georgia on February 23.

Tuskegee returns home in the month of March as they host Morehouse in a series starting on March 4, followed by another game against West Georgia, this time on the road. Following the matchup against the Wolves, the Golden Tigers take on Spring Hill in Mobile (March 11-12) before returning home for home games against Talladega (March 14), Kentucky State (March 18-19), and Miles (25-26).

The Golden Tigers close out the month with a road battle against Auburn-Montgomery, one of four final non-conference opponents that include a trip to Huntsville to take on Alabama A&M (April 4), Montevallo (April 12), and another game against the Warhawks on (April 18).

The program closes out the regular season with conference series against Edward Waters (April 1-2), Savannah State (April 7-8), Benedict (April 15-16), and Lane (April 22-23), before concluding the year on the road at LeMoyne-Owen (April 28-29).
