Southern University baseball relief pitcher Enrique Ozoa has signed with the Trenton Thunder of the Major League Baseball (MLB) Draft League.
Ozoa will pitch his home games at Trenton Thunder Ballpark, formerly known as Mercer County Waterfront Park and Arm & Hammer Park, is a ballpark in Trenton, New Jersey.
Ozoa, who was a mainstay in the bullpen pitching rotation for three seasons. This past season he recorded a 2.14 earned run average in 14 appearances, 5 saves in 21.0 innings pitched and striking out 19 batters. Ozoa career high 7 saves during the 2021 season. Finished his career 2.51 ERA, 6-2 record in 48 appearances, 15 saves, 71.2 innings on the hill and he struckout 72 batters.
