Savannah State’s Joe Smith and Jacob Bisharat of Miles College Named to ABCA/Rawlings South All-Region Team

The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and Rawlings recently announced their selections for the 2022 NCAA Division II South Region Teams naming Savannah State outfielder Joseph Smith and Miles College catcher Jacob Bisharat to the region’s first and second teams.

Smith, this past 2022 season, batted .441 with nines doubles, nine triples, nine home runs, 41 runs batted in, and 15 stolen bases.

Bisharat, at the plated during the 2022 season, hit .367 with 20 doubles, one triple, eleven home runs, 46 runs driven home, and 10 bases swiped.
