The Savannah State University baseball team continues to get recognition in the National College Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Top 10 South Region Poll. The Tigers are ninth in the NCBWA regional rankings this week.
The Tigers baseball program represents the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC). They are coming off a 3-0 weekend sweep of Benedict College and end the regular season at 33-10 overall and 28-2 in conference.
Savannah State next game will be in the 2022 SIAC Baseball Championship playing Tuskegee as the tournaments No. 1 seed. If the Tigers win the conference tournament, they will head to the NCAA Division II Regionals.
