The Savannah State University Tigers baseball team fell two spots from No. 8 to No. 10 in this week’s latest National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association NCAA Division II South Region Poll that was released early Wednesday afternoon March 13.
The Tigers, who continued conference play last weekend by taking two out of three games at home against Clark Atlanta University continue in this week’s rankings and are the only team from the SIAC league ranked.
After taking 2 of 3 games in the series this past weekend against Clark Atlanta (Monday’s game is not reflected in the rankings), the Tigers are sporting a 14-4 overall record and a 9-3 mark in the SIAC.
Savannah State hits the road this weekend with a three-game conference matchup visiting Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia.
