The HBCU Baseball Community was shocked when the circumstances behind head coach Jason Beverlin departure from Bethune Cookman was announced.
This comes at the time when the baseball program return its entire roster for the 2018 season being the only HBCU baseball program in history to compete for an NCAA Division I Regional title, only to lose to the ultimate national champion University of Florida in the final game of the NCAA Gainesville Regional this past 2017 season.
