North Carolina Central sophomore pitcher Ryan Miller has been named an NCAA Division I All-American by the publication Collegiate Baseball on Thursday, June 3rd. Miller was selected to its second team.
Ryan Miller, who earned Black College Nines HBCU Baseball Pitcher-of-the-Year, and MEAC Pitcher-of-the-Year honors, enters the Greenville Regional tournament ranking nationally among the leaders in wins in Division I baseball with 10.
Miller posted records at NCCU in wins as he went 10-0, a 2.24 earned run average in the MEAC Conference, led the conference in innings pitched (73.1), and held opponents to a .204 batting average.
The right-hander went unbeaten during league play where he struck out 74 batters and allowed just 18 earned runs.
