After opening their season with back to back wins at Lane College, the LeMoyne-Owen College men’s baseball team have fell into a slump. The team is now 2-7 and are currently on a seven game losing streak.
The Magicians has three losses to Albany state, three losses to Savannah State and one loss on the road at Christian Brothers University. The team has given up nearly 100 runs in their seven regular season losses this season.
Head Coach Patrick Newman and his young ball club are still feeling optimistic about the season, and are looking forward to getting back on track in their home opener at USA Stadium. The team will take on Benedict College on Saturday March 5th, at 6pm.
