The Jarvis Christian Athletic Department has announced that Dion Holbrook has been named the school’s head baseball coach.
Obviously, there was a lot of interest in the head coach position and the athletic department interviewed several good candidates, Holbrook possesses the qualities they were looking for to lead the baseball program. He has a diverse coaching background, and his wide-ranging experience was appealing.
Holbrook, a native of Arlington, Texas, comes to Jarvis Christian after two seasons as the assistant coach of Grace Prep Academy in Arlington, Texas. He was also a pitching coach at Mountain View College in Dallas where he also started his collegiate baseball career before receiving a scholarship to play at Grambling State University.
