HBCUs West Virginia State and Savannah State Ranked in NCBWA NCAA Division II Regional Baseball Polls

Historically Black College and University baseball programs continue to garner recognition from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association in its 2024 NCAA Division II Regional Polls as been released on Wednesday Feb. 28.

West Virginia State dropped one spot from No. 8 in the previous week’s poll, earning the No. 9 spot this week in the Atlantic Region Top 10 Poll.

Savannah State, off to a 10-0 start, after receiving votes last week, jumped to the No. 10 ranking in the NCBWA South Region Top 10 Poll. The Tigers have a big test coming up against SIAC conference foe Spring Hill in a three-game series.
