HBCU Team Opens Its 2015 Baseball Season on TV

The University of Maryland Eastern Shore opens the 2015 baseball season against Alabama Crimson Tide in a three game series set to be broadcasted to a “National TV Audience”. The entire three game series will be shown on ESPN its network affiliates ESPN3, Watch ESPN and the SEC Network Plus this weekend.

UMES is looking to improve on last season record. Under first-year head coachJohn O’Neil, the Hawks have 18 returning players from the previous year and 11 new faces, “a large chunk of whom will assist on the pitching staff” as starters or in the bullpen.
