The Washington Nationals are inviting all HBCU alumni associations for HBCU Night on April 16 as the celebrate Black Heritage Day when the Washington Nationals will take on the Philadelphia Phillies at National Ballpark.
Prior to the game, the Nationals will honor the accomplishments of greats like Jackie Robinson, Hank Aaron, and other African Americans who helped make baseball what it is today. In addition, the Nationals will have a DJ from WPGC providing music at the Miller Lite Scoreboard Walk prior to the game. Special ticket rates are available at a steep discount that include varying amounts of concession credit that can be spent anywhere in the ballpark. The rates are shown below.
