HBCU Baseball Programs Continue to Fair Well in NCAA Division II Regional Polls

Albany State continues its No. 8 ranking and Savannah State continues to receive votes in this week’s National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) NCAA Division II South Region Poll, while West Virginia State climbs from  previously receiving votes, to No. 7 in the latest Atlantic Region Poll released on April 12, 2023.

Albany State has an overall record of 21-6, Savannah State’s record is 21-8 and West Virginia State is 18-11. All three teams are ranked in the most recent Black College Nines Small School Top 10 Poll.
