Former Jarvis Christian Elon Chamberlain Signs Professional Contract

The 2016 Bulldogs baseball team added another player to the list of those who will continue their baseball career at the professional level in 2017. Elon Chamberlain, a 6-4 left-handed first basemen and designated hitter, signed a Spring Training contract with the White Sands Pupfish, joining former teammates Javion Randle and Angel Merced as those who have signed a professional contract to date.

The White Sands Pupfish are a professional baseball club in the Pecos League of Professional Baseball Clubs located in Alamogordo, New Mexico, and will begin Spring Training in May 2017.

Chamberlain, a native of Chicago, Illinois, played in 43 games for the Bulldogs with 59 at-bats, as a transfer from Kishwaukee Community College in Malta, Illinois.
