Head coach Roosevelt Barnes’ Wilberforce baseball program eagerly prepared for a return to the diamond this spring. Fall ball has Barnes confident that his ball club is poised to take a big step forward. The team has a lot to prove. Fall scrimmage offered improvement from the two seasons in the conference.
As the anticipation for the upcoming baseball season builds, the Wilberforce team is gearing up to make a significant impact on the field. This season, the buzz around the team isn’t just about honing their strategy but also about new and returning players.
Wilberforce has also strengthened its batting line-up, with new additions. They will be new to the HBCU Athletic Conference. Roosevelt Barnes is returning for the third year as the team’s head coach with Bryan Shelby, Byron Famble Jr., and Grant Bradley rounding out the coaching staff.
