The Edward Waters College Tigers are returning 22 players from the 2019 season. Out of those 22, 6 starting position players and four starting pitchers return. The 2020 team will be led by four-year starter Cayden Frankie at first base and transfer senior Marcus Judd at second and shortstop. Head coach Reginald Johnson is looking forward to having both Damani Thomas and Alfredo Torres back from injury. The pitching staff is returning 10 quality arms that will be asked to do it all. The staff will be versatile returning four starters and a bullpen that is just getting stronger.

With last year being a down season in the eyes of Coach Johnson, the Tigers are taking a different approach to the fall. This fall the team has been focusing on getting bigger, faster and stronger and had full team practice during fall scrimmages. Over all, Coach
Johnson feels great at where his guys are at, in comparison to years past. Coach Johnson looks for his ballclub to have the best season yet since he has taken over the program back in 2012.
