Coppin State Opens NCAA Tournament In the Greenville Regional

Coppin State baseball team will play in the NCAA Tournament at the Greenville Regionals. The 2022 MEAC Champion will play the No. 8 national seed East Carolina in the first round of the NCAA Baseball Championship hosted by East Carolina also features Coastal Carolina and Virginia.

Coppin State contest with East Carolina is set for Friday, June 3 at 1 pm and streamed live on ESPN+.

The winner of the Greenville Regional will take on the winner of the Austin Regional (No. 9 Texas, Air Force, Dallas Baptist, Louisiana Tech) in the Super Regionals.

The Eagles (24-28) are making their NCAA Regional debut after winning its first MEAC baseball championship since 1995. They are competing in the four-team, double-elimination Regional this weekend.

After a slow start and some injuries, The players worked hard the schedule paid off. Coppin conference schedule all season as all four teams were right in the thick of the race at the end of the season and made it into the NCAA tournament this year.
