Bluefield State and Edward Waters College to Open Black College World Series Today

The Black College World Series opening game features No. 3 seed Bluefield State Big Blue against the No. 6 seed Edward Waters Tigers in the inaugural Black College World Series HBCU baseball event hosted by the Montgomery Biscuits, home of Major League Baseball Double-A affiliate the Tampa Bay Rays.

Wednesday’s first pitch is scheduled for 12:00 pm to open the World Series..

Both programs are deep coming into the tournament. Their mindset is Montgomery or bust mentality. What better way to play the season out. This is truly amazing.

The Black College World Series will take place on April 28, 2021 – May 1, 2021 at the Riverwalk ballpark. The entire Black College World Series will be live streamed. Games will be available live on the Black College Sports Network at www.mybcsn.net/diamond. Games will also be available on the BCSN YouTube channel (myjbnonline) and via the MyJBN/My BCSN App, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Tickets can be purchased at Black College World Series Tickets.

  1. I love this. Thank you delivering the games online, too. Is there any BCWS swag for sale?
