American Baseball Coaches Association Names Six from HBCUs to DII All-Region Teams

The American Baseball Coaches Association in conjunction with the Rawlings Sporting Goods Company annually selects all-region teams and in the NCAA Division II classification, six student-athletes from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) were honored on May 28, 2025.

From the Atlantic Region:

  • Nathan Paulsen, Outfielder, of West Virginia State earned second team honors.

From the South Region:

  • Kendal Spencer, Outfielder, of Savannah State earned first team honors
  • Juan Guardado, Catcher, of Benedict College earned second team honors
  • Reggie Tuggle, Shortstop, of Savannah State earned second team honors
  • Torry Jones, Designated Hitter, of Edward Waters University earned second team honors
  • Brayden Thomas, Pitcher, of Savannah State earned second team honors
