The Golden Rams offense erupted for 13 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning to run away from the Magicians and win their home opener 20-10. With the win, the Golden Rams improve to 2-3 and the Magicians fall to 1-2 on the season.
The highlight of the 5th inning was when Lavoisier Fisher hit a 3-run homerun to extend the Golden Rams led to 12-5.
The Golden Rams followed up their monster 5th inning by scoring 6 runs in the 6th inning to put the game away.
TJ Thomas, Nick Hernandez and Zane Ross had 3 hits each for the Golden Rams.
Jeremiah Reddell got the win for the Golden Rams. Reddell is 1-1 on the season.
The Golden Rams and the Magicians will play a double header on Saturday, February 19. The first pitch is scheduled at 12:00 noon on the ASU West Campus.
