Albany State Continues its No. 8 Ranking in Latest NCBWA NCAA Division II South Region Poll

The Albany State Golden Rams ballclub has an extensive amount of firepower this year, which has carried over from last season, in my opinion. When you take into account the amount of returners and head coach Scot Hemming’s best recruiting class of his tenure, this team seems like it will go from 0 to 60 on the first pitch.

It starts with Lavoisier Fisher who is on pace for HBCU Baseball Player of the Year honors right now. Fisher is one of the best bats in the game and has Chase Karn in the lineup with him. On the hill, Landon Kiefer and Jeremiah Reddell will lead the way but keep an eye on Brady Davis. This team is deep down to the last man on the bench.

Albany State continue its No. 8 ranking in the latest NCAA Division II Regional Poll released by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) on March 22, 2023. ASU was previously ranked 8th in last week’s NCBWA Top 10 South Region Poll.
