Albany State and West Virginia State Recognized in Latest NCBWA NCAA Division II Regional Baseball Polls

Historically Black College and University baseball programs continue to be recognized in the 2025 NCAA Division II regional polls presented by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association as released on February 19th.

Albany State, after receiving votes in the Week 1 poll on Feb. 12, rose to No. 10 in the South Region Week 2 Top 10 Poll. The Golden Rams will play a three-game series against Lane College this weekend in SIAC conference play.

West Virginia State also received votes in the previous Week 1 Poll and continues to be recognized in the Atlantic Region Week 2 Top 10 Poll. The Yellow Jackets are scheduled to play four games versus Malone University.
