Alabama State Continues to Receive Votes in NCBWA Division I Poll

Alabama State (6-1) received votes in this week’s National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) poll for the second straight weekend of the 2020 season coming off a three-game sweep of Oakland University.  After winning six of their first seven games over Prairie View A&M, UAPB, Southern and Oakland, the Hornets are looking to move into the Top 30 NCAA Division I poll.

The Hornets will face Troy and UAB in mid-week action twice this season and have a scheduled four game home tilt with Toledo this weekend at the Wheeler-Watkins Baseball Complex. Alabama State then starts its SWAC conference schedule March 6-8, 2020 visiting conference foe Mississippi Valley State.

For the second straight year ASU has started the season off at 6-1.
