2023 HBCU Baseball Preseason Elites and Projected Players of the Year

Black College Nines has announced its fifty-six Historically Black College and University (HBCU) preseason elite baseball players for the upcoming 2023 season. First and second team selections were made for both the large school division (made up of NCAA Division I schools) and small school division (made up of those in the NCAA Division II as well as the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA).

The awards are highlighted by our picks for preseason large school Position Player of the Year and preseason large school Pitcher of the Year, as well as preseason small school Position Player of the Year and preseason small school Pitcher of the Year.

Black college Nines’ selections were made based upon research and statistical information provided by coaching staffs and sports information directors.
