Pompano Beach, Florida – Black College Championships is pleased to announce tickets for this year’s Black College World Series (BCWS) are on sale to the general public Friday, March 31, 2023.
We’re excited to announce tickets sale for this event, but we’re more enthusiastic about the accessibility benefits of the tournament and can’t wait to start the event.
The Black College World Series will be held May 10-13 at Riverwalk Stadium (Home of the Tampa Bay Rays Double-A affiliate Montgomery Biscuits). The event is in its third year, the Black College Championships website provides details, and we’ll be filling in more as it gets closer.
If you’re excited, go ahead and register for your ticket now! We aren’t sure what capacity we hold for the event. But we might still sell out, provided a manageable event size for our attendees, as always.
The Particulars…
When: May 10-13, 2023
Where: Riverwalk Stadium (home of the Tampa Bay Rays Double-A affiliate Montgomery Biscuits) 200 Coosa Street, Montgomery, Alabama 36104
Tickets: General Admission
Format: Two divisions, one bracket of four NCAA Division II teams, and one bracket of four NAIA teams with winners of each division face off in a one-game playoff to determine a champion.
Black College Championships announce the return of the Home Run Derby. Watch HBCU college baseball’s best power hitters put on a show in the premier college baseball event of the season before Saturday’s national championship game.
We want to make sure folks can get value from being at the event, and we think it will be another great year of helping the Montgomery community connect.
Black College Championships welcomes journalists and media representatives and invites them to cover the event. Accreditation requests for the Black College World Series 20233 will be open until May 9 via press credentials at blackcollegechampionships.com.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, inclement weather could force an extra day to determine the Black College World Series winner.
