The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) 2015 Baseball Conference Championship event set to take place May 13-16, 2015 at the host site, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore Perdue Stadium in Salisbury, Md. The MEAC Baseball tourney scheduled as a double-elimination format, with the winners squaring off in the championship game on Saturday afternoon, a second championship game if necessary.The winner will receive an automatic berth to the NCAA Division I post-season Tournament.
This year’s tournament top seeds from the MEAC Northern Division; Norfolk State University, the No. 2 ranked team as ranked by Black College Nines (BCN) for Historically Black College and University (HBCU) baseball programs along with from the MEAC Southern Division; Florida A&M University also ranked in the (BCN) baseball poll at No. 7.
Norfolk State the top seed in the MEAC leads the conference with a record of 19-5 .792, 26-14 .650 overall; Florida A&M 15-9 .625, 20-23 .465 overall.
Bethune-Cookmen University, the 2014 conference champions have won 17 All-Time MEAC Baseball Champions since 1972, this includes 9 of the last 10 championships since 2005. Savannah State University won the MEAC in 2013.
