Winston Salem State Continues To Receive Votes In Latest NCBWA Poll

Following the team’s 10-4 start, the Winston Salem State baseball team earned 38 points and is tied with Gannon University ranked No. 7 in this week’s National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Division II Atlantic Region Poll.

The team was ranked fifth in the NCABWA poll last week and have dropped down two slots after being ranked by the NCBWA since preseason rankings came out.

The Rams continues to lead the Atlantic Region in wins with 10 for a 10-4 overall record as of this latest polling. WSSU won its first ten games they played to open the season. Winston Salem returns to action hitting the road with four games March 9-10 starting on Saturday against Indiana (Pa.) in Asheboro, N.C. (McCrary Park).
