ATLANTA, Ga. – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced its baseball weekly honors, released by the league office on Monday. 

Keishaun Clark (Lane) was named Player of the Week, while Jacob Schuster (Miles) earned Pitcher of the Week honors. 

PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Keishaun Clark, Lane 

Infielder  |  5’11  |  Junior  |  Atlanta, Ga. 

Clark led the Dragons hitting attack that saw the Dragons win six games during the week including a four-game sweep over LeMoyne-Owen College. For the week, Clark collected 12 hits in 21 At-Bats for a .571 batting average. He scored 13 runs and added 10 RBI’s including a Grand-Slam home run, and a double. 

PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Jacob Schuster, Miles 

Pitcher  |  6’4  |  Senior  |  Douglassville, Ga. 

Schuster tossed a complete-game 2-hitter in the Golden Bears’ 2-0 win against Kentucky State on Saturday. The only hits were both singles. The 6’4 senior pitcher walked two and struck out eight, allowing just one runner to reach third base. Schuster ended the game by retiring the final 13 hitters he faced.
