ATLANTA, Ga. – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced its baseball weekly honors, released by the league office on Monday.

Jacob Bisharat (Miles) was named Player of the Week, while Joe Crisp (Kentucky State) earned Pitcher of the Week honors.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Jacob Bisharat, Miles
Catcher/First Base  |  6’4  |  Sophomore  |  Pleasant Grove, Ala.

Bisharat led the Golden Bears to a 4-1 record this week slashing a .556/.652/1.167 and going 10-for-18 with eight RBIs including three doubles, two home runs, and a triple. The Alabama native scored 12 runs as the Golden Bears outscored their opponents 57-42. On the season, he is slashing .357/.503/.627 with 41 RBIs and 12 stolen bases, and six home runs.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Joe Crisp, Kentucky State
Pitcher  |  5’9  |  Senior  |  Shelbyville, Ky.

Crisp threw a complete game five-hitter, yielding no runs with eight strikeouts as Kentucky State defeated conference opponent, LeMoyne-Owen, 5-0.
