A:  Spending time with my wife and grandchildren

A: Pizza

Q: How important it is to be involved in the community?

A: I think it’s very important for the growth of the program as a whole, if we are winning then it helps the community. If we’re playing well, it makes the little league program in the community better; also the fans will be engaged and full of excitement.

Q: What’s your coaching philosophy?

A: People person

Q: With the new renovation to the Torii Hunter Baseball Complex at Bill Jones Field, how will this help in recruiting going forward?

A: It helps, having the best facility in the conference and one of the best in the state, where in the beginning we didn’t even get a look from certain recruits on a facility standpoint, but now we are getting the players that we are going after to build this program.

Q: What’s in the future for UAPB Baseball when it comes to the program and facility?

A: Continue to enhance the facility, but for as the program, we want to play for a national title. We want to continue to build the program stronger and compete for a championship along with the administrators to build the program to a title team.

Q:  If you can face one pitcher in the MLB who would that be?

A: Bob Gibson
Q: What’s your why? Why UAPB?

A: I’m from Pine Bluff and I understand the rich tradition my city has. I want to re-establish that and make baseball in Pine Bluff king again.
