ATLANTA – Darian Dull (Kentucky State) was selected as the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Baseball Player of the Week and Lyndale Morley (Claflin) was named the Pitcher of the Week, released by the league on Monday.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Darian Dull, So., 1B/C, R/R, 5-8. 240 (Owensboro, Ky.)
KSU Darian DullDull went 6-for-12 (.500) last week where Kentucky State posted a 3-1 record. Throughout the week, Dull recorded three home runs, two doubles, six runs, and 11 RBI. KSU dropped a 6-2 non-conference game to Ashbury on Wednesday but rebounded with a three-game sweep of Lane over the weekend. Kentucky State will visit Murray State on March 29 for a non-conference game.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK

Lyndale Morley, 6-0, 185, Jr., P/OF (Lynchburg, Va.)
Claflin Lyndale MorleyMorley pitched all seven innings in a 9-4 win over Morehouse on Friday in the opening game of the series. Morley finished with seven strikeouts and allowed just six hits against 32 batters faced. The Panthers swept Morehouse and improved to 7-2 in the conference. Claflin will host Coker College on Wednesday, March 30 at 6 p.m.
