EAST GREENSBORO – North Carolina A&T head baseball coach Ben Hall and assistant coach Stefan Jordan will speak at the USA Baseball Coaches Clinic in Greensboro Wednesday.

The clinic will be at Greensboro Day School off Lawndale Dr.  Jordan will speak at 7:10 p.m., on catching followed by Hall speaking on practice preparation at 7:40 p.m.

“I was thrilled with the invitation for our staff to participate in the USA Baseball Coaches Clinic,” Hall said. “Development is a big part of the game of baseball and it extends beyond just the players in our program. We always want to participate in the overall development of the game. This was an awesome opportunity to talk and invest in coaches at the high school and youth levels.”

Hall took a 10-win program in 2014 to the top of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) by winning the MEAC Championship in 2018, the school’s first baseball conference title in 13 years.

The Aggies finished the 2017 and 2018 with winning seasons, the first time in school history with back-to-back winning seasons since they had winning seasons from 1972-76. The Aggies have also won the MEAC Southern Division the last two seasons.

Hall led the Aggies to a school-record 32 overall wins in 2018. The Aggies also won a school-record 16 MEAC games in 2018 under Hall. He is a combined 60-50 (.545) over the last two season for the best win total and winning percentage over a two-year period since the program joined the NCAA in 1982.
