ALBANY, Ga. – Morehouse College remained alive in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) baseball tournament with an elimination game victory over Lane College on Friday evening by a score of 12-7.

Turning Point
It didn’t take long for the Maroon Tigers to put the game out of hand as they scored 11 runs in the first four innings to put the game out of reach.

Individual Leaders
MHC – Five Maroon Tigers had two hits a piece highlighted by Derrick Odoms (Albany, GA) 2-for-5, five RBI day. Jordan Davis got the win as he pitched 4.0 of two hit baseball allowing only one run. Jalyn Hawkins came in relief pitching five innings, allowing seven his while striking out five.

LC – The Dragons were led by Zachary Elias who finished 2-for-4 and two RBI.
