SAINT LOUIS, MO – The Harris-Stowe State University Baseball team has been breaking records this year with their 23-12 record through the first 35 games. But, their effort on the field is not the only thing to note.

During their game with Missouri Baptist University on April 13, the HSSU Hornets will be wearing special jerseys that have been designed by children from Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in Saint Louis. Fans will have the opportunity to bid on the jerseys in a silent auction during the game and, after the completion of the game, players from Harris-Stowe will hand out jerseys to the highest bidders.

Last year, Harris-Stowe raised $600 for Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital and the team is hoping to raise $2,000 this year.

All proceeds from the silent auction and gate admission will go directly to Cardinal Glennon.

First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Car Shield Field in O’Fallon, MO. For more information, please contact Head Coach CJ Bilbrey at bilbreyc@hssu.edu.
