Lions left fielder, Jouseph Renovales, led the offensive charge for the Lions in this game by reaching base safely 3 times out of 4 plate appearances. Renovales also scored 2 runs and had 4 RBI as the Lions improved their record to 16-9 by defeating the Conquistadors of Florida National University. The Conquistadors’ record fell to 6-17.

The Lions were also led by hard hitting third baseman, Axel Gomez, as he earned 3 hits out of his 4 plate appearances and had 2 RBI. On the mound, for the Lions, Christian Suarez earned the victory and improved his record to 3-1 by pitching 3 solid innings, allowing 3 hits, walking 2 batters and striking out 3 Conquistadors.
