Dillard hit .400 this past week with three home runs.

 

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The MEAC announced on Monday that Florida A&M’s Ricky Page was named MEAC Pitcher of the Week, while 1B/OF Dylan Dillard was named MEAC Co-Player of the Week along with Norfolk State’s Syeed Mahdi. The Rattlers swept Bethune-Cookman over the weekend for the first time since before 2000 and has now won eight straight games. The eight-game winning streak is the longest such streak for FAMU since before the 2000 season.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: 

Dillard DylanSenior RF/1B Dylan Dillard belted three home runs, including a multi-home run game against Toledo (3/8) last Tuesday, with two doubles and had 10 RBIs. He also had two four RBI games, in the four games last week. Dillard posted a 1.133 SLG% and was walked twice, while batting .400 for the week.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK: 

Ricky PageSenior LHP pitcher Ricky Page pitched a career-high 8.0 scoreless innings in game two vs. Bethune-Cookman (3/12) on Saturday and tied a career high with five strikeouts. Page only faced two batters over the minimum despite working a no decision. Page scattered three hits and only walked one batter, while lowering his season ERA to 2.31.

The Rattlers travel to play Alabama State on Wednesday with first pitch scheduled for 5:00 PM ET.
