The 21-run offensive production was the most this season. Molik Brown led the Panthers scoring attack with a grand slam home run over the leftfield wall along with Jalen Sprull who had a two-run homer also to leftfield. The Claflin offense generated 19 runs in the last four innings of the game.

Christian Buford, 1-1, was the winning pitcher for the Panthers.

Florida Southern will bring a team to Orangeburg that is 9-8 on the season following a double-header sweep of Felician University 7-4 and 24-5 on Wednesday.

Claflin is 10-4 at home this season, while Florida Southern has a road record of 4-2.
